Classified by production process (core classification)

The difference in process determines the anti-corrosion performance and service life of galvanized pipes. Sanhe Steel mainly uses two mainstream processes, both of which comply with the GB/T13912 standard and are suitable for different scenarios.

1. Hot dip galvanized pipe (hot-dip galvanized pipe)

Process core: After rust removal and acid washing, immerse the steel pipe in molten zinc solution at 450-460 ℃ to form a dense zinc iron alloy layer with a thickness of 60-150 μ m and strong adhesion.

Core features: Excellent corrosion resistance, can isolate water and oxygen erosion, and prioritize oxidation of the zinc layer to protect the pipe after scratching; High temperature resistance, impact resistance, suitable for harsh outdoor environments.

Applicable scenarios: municipal engineering, building water supply and drainage, outdoor guardrails, marine related facilities, etc. It is the preferred galvanized pipe for long-term outdoor use.

2. Cold galvanized pipe (electroplated galvanized pipe)

Process core: Electrolytic deposition of thin zinc layer with a thickness of 5-30 μ m, smooth appearance, short production cycle, and low cost.

Core features: Lightweight and easy to construct, controllable cost, suitable for dry environments with low anti-corrosion requirements, and no need for long-term outdoor exposure.

Applicable scenarios: Indoor wire conduit, temporary support, indoor decoration frame, not suitable for humid and corrosive environments.

Classified by specifications (commonly used standards)

1. Nominal diameter (DN): DN15 to DN200, covering commonly used specifications for civil and industrial use;

2. Outer diameter and wall thickness: outer diameter 12.7mm-152.4mm, wall thickness 0.5mm-20mm, commonly 1.3mm-10mm;

3. Length: Standard 6 meters, 9 meters, 12 meters, supporting non-standard customization.
